We are looking for a Warehouse & Product Preparation Assistant (on a Contractor basis) to join our team in Chiswick Park. It's a fast paced and diverse role and when we say that two days are never the same, we're not kidding. Just look around our business and it's easy to see why. We sell big name brands for everything from Elemis to Dyson. Our business isn't like any other business and you'll love our people – we're a friendly bunch.

There's a lot to get excited about in this role. Each week we feature hundreds of products on TV and on our website; products which range from jewellery to clothing, from kitchenware to garden products.

These products travel down (with the help of a man in a van) from our Knowsley site to Chiswick Park, and when they arrive they need to be sorted, stored and then prepped for the live shows. Don't worry, you don't need to figure this out on your own – you'll use computer systems to help track and store items, and be given plans provided by our production team to let you know what item is needed and when. However, ultimately it is down to you to ensure that the right products are available for a show, in the right place and in tip-top condition and ready for their close up! This makes you a V.I.P. in the QVC team.

Warehouse & Product Preparation Assistant:

We're not kidding when we say this role is a challenge! We need someone who has excellent communication skills as you will be talking to lots of different people from various teams, and you'll also need to be super organised too to keep track of all those items! Also, we need someone who can problem-solve so that if an item isn't where it's supposed to be (not that this happens a lot), you can step in and save the day.

In terms of where you've been before, we're open to candidates from all backgrounds, so you don't necessarily need you to have worked in a Warehouse or Retail environment before, but knowledge of these industries would be an advantage. Also, you'll need to have GCSE's or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English, and be able to find your way around a computer.

Our TV show isn't just on from 9am – 5pm, so this role will involve shift work between the hours of 09:00 – 17:30, 08:00 – 19:00 & 14:00 – 01:00
