Fortum O&M UK Ltd operates power plants in North-eastern England and Central Scotland. We provide full-scope Operation and Maintenance (O&M) solutions to ensure that power plants runs sustainably, safely and economically. We are now looking for Administrative Officer to support the our organization in Glasgow.
About the role
As our future Administrative Officer you will be supporting the management and staff in general and daily business requires. This involves coordinating day-to-day procurement and invoicing and ensuring these are in line with the purchasing requirements and procedures. You will also be supporting the site team in procurement task.
Furthermore you will be assisting with establishing and maintain the administrative archive and general office arrangements; including equipment and stationary.
The position also requires you to provide receptionists duties such as receiving visitors to the offices, taking incoming calls and general day to day offices duties. And organize meeting rooms in readiness for meeting, refreshments etc.
Lastly you will act as a site contact for coordinating with HR on personnel queries, files and training records.

About you
We are looking for a person, which have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels; both verbally and written, and you have a good understanding of purchasing requirements and invoicing controls.
Our new Administrative Officer are also strong in using the entire Office package, as he or she has a general understanding og HR processes and GDPR in archiving files and documents.
Lastly we are looking for a team player with a passion for working with people and processes, and has the ability to solve task from a fact-based and logical perspective. We do not mind that you structured and detail oriented.
