This opportunity will suit anyone that has the desire to learn, enthusiastic, resilient approach who can adapt to change and be willing to take on a variety of tasks whilst taking a new

challenge within their stride. You to undertake a structured training program of academic study, field service work and office operations in order to gain the required skills and

knowledge to support the HV Service business requirements in the following areas:

  • Monitoring the assembly/ manufacturing line activities.
  • Supporting the Assemblers in meeting the project specifications with the objective of completing the production plan.
  • Working in accordance to the work instructions and guidelines received
  • Complying with all company policies, including but not limited to Health and Safety
  • Acting as an intermediary between the production assistant and the specialised staff.

Learning Objectives:

This is an exciting opportunity to learn about the entire end to end service environment. Within High Voltage the tasks will include but not limited to:

  • Observing, learning and understanding a wide range of engineering skills and processes while under the instruction of skilled technical staff.
  • How to own problems and take the responsibility of solving them
  • Office administration
  • Project Management and Operations tasks
  • Sales & Tendering activities
  • Learning and understanding the importance of Health, Safety, Environment within the workspace.
  • Appreciation of Quality and Compliance aspects in relation to HV products and Service
  • Undertake and successfully complete suitable college courses throughout the training period, achieving the academic grades and practical skills in order to entitle yearly progression leading to the award of a suitable qualification.
  • Able to demonstrate these skills and processes as the training period progresses by working independently or with a team, to undertake tasks as instructed and increasing overall contribution to the department.

Additionally, there will be an opportunity to receive a formal qualification in a subject to be mutually agreed. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn and gain insight into High Voltage.
