Position: Operational Support Administrator
Location: Prescot, L34 9HX
Salary: Salary: £11.65ph
Hours: Full Time 39 hours per week,

Shifts: Core operational hours between 6:30am - 3pm, Monday to Friday

Start date: 05/06/2023

Type: Temporary until approximately January 2024 and also possibility of role becoming permanent from then.

This role is critical in maintaining correct levels of monitoring equipment in all field areas of EMS Ltd. The role is based at the Nexus Office in Knowsley, Liverpool. From this base, EMS deliver monitoring equipment, consumable items and PPE to over 400 field officers using existing logistics links.

You will have:
The ability and motivation to work to set key performance indicators (KPls) and performance targets
The ability to work well under pressure, manage your own workload, and have the ability to prioritise the tasks that are the most important
The ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work across multiple tasks within required deadlines
Excellent abilities to use MS Excel in order to manage and create spread sheets where required.
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to use all Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Outlook Email & Calendar
Previous experience of stores/logistics work desirable
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
Flexible and enthusiastic
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

In this role you will:
Ensure timely receipt and distribution of equipment to and from suppliers, Field Support Areas and home-based Field Monitoring Officers
Ensure that agreed stock levels are achieved and maintained in all FSAs and by all home-based FMOs
Collate daily requirements from home-based FMOs, using stock sheets submissions, agree and plan quantity to be despatched
Complete and communicate a daily despatch plan with the logistics FLM
Use logistics company's systems to place orders for despatch to home-based FMOs, and pick and pack orders ready for collection
Receive returns from logistics company and scan back into EMS systems
Maintain all relevant spread sheets including weekly stock audit and the recording of HMU download, tampers, Held for Evidence Log and equipment recovery summary packs (ER summary packs to be processed from all FSAs, Held for Evidence log also to be processed for all FSAs)
Ensure stock audits of all equipment and associated consumable items are maintained on a daily basis, returning or ordering as required to maintain appropriate stock levels for Central Stores
Complete weekly equipment audits including consumables
General housekeeping to maintain a safe and tidy Stores area
To be able to Lift and carry different size boxes for the purposes of loading/unloading vehicles and stack/pick to/from shelves within the stores area in line with manual handling requirements.
Cleaning all monitoring equipment ready for reuse
Filing for all documentation within the department

Employment will be subject to passing screening requirements, including a clean criminal record and credit history, clear of sanctions and staff fraud, proof of address and extensive referencing for past jobs

Desirable:
Experience in diagnostics and repair of electronic devices
Previous logistics knowledge in a busy environment
