Job Description

Grant Administrator

Love Success is currently working with an excellent charity to hire a Grant Administrator on a full-time basis. You will need to be able to commit to being in the office five days a week and travel costs are not included. This opportunity is paying £17 per hour which can be negotiated for the right candidate.

As a Grants Administrator, you will assess a high volume of grant applications from charities, not-for-profit and community organisations. You will be responsible for ensuring deadlines are met, applications are assessed correctly against the donor's criteria and for monitoring successful awards. You will provide information and coordination support to the grant-making decision panels.

What You'll Do

  • Assess grant funding applications using assessment frameworks
  • Monitor and manage the delivery of grants and projects by assessing progress reports and data returns
  • Use a range of management information systems and databases to support the effective management of grants and programmes
  • Data management, manipulation and evaluation to produce accurate data reports to funders and to undertake detailed data analysis for programmes, performance and quality management
  • Undertake funding compliance checks and due diligence processes, interpreting detailed funder requirements to ensure alignment with funding rules
  • Act as a point of contact for external grant recipients and project delivery staff, providing advice and guidance on application and monitoring processes, and compliance requirements
  • Develop and review processes to maximise efficiency, results, and levels of customer service
  • Check and process claims to support the financial management of programmes and contracts
  • Produce accurate, high-quality written reports for General Manager, Trustees, and funders

What You'll Bring

We are looking for a reliable candidate who has experience with CRMS and excellent Microsoft Office skills as well as someone with strong data management skills. You must be able to build strong relationships to support the project managers and have experience with undertaking due diligence processes to comply with legislation.
