SCENIC ARTIST
Due to company expansion and a very busy workbook, we are looking to grow our team of Scenic artists to work on various projects in our workshop in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
We are keen to speak to Scenic artists/ painters with experience in theatre, tv, events & concert touring. Highly skilled art workers from other sectors will be considered if you have the right attitude and interest in the work that we do.
Experience of working in a live events environment is advantageous, experience of working in various medium Is essential (oil & water-based paints, spray painting, freehand artistry, scenic vacform painting). Sculpting experience in foam, polystyrene and hot wire sculpting would be a great asset to have.
Working with our workshop team to complete scenic elements to a very high standard finish, working closely with industry leading designers to achieve the desired look of each project.
Ideally, we are looking to take on full-time team members to grow with us as a company, but freelance scenic artists are required on occasion so get in touch if you are looking for either type of role.
The job will be predominantly based at our workshop in Bradford, but occasionally working away will be needed, when site work is required.
Working hours are generally 7:30am – 4pm, Mon- Fri (flexibility will be needed to suit the project needs and will be agreed beforehand on each project).
Full time salary negotiable, dependent upon experience and skillset.
Freelance rate to be discussed on a job-by-job basis.
