RAF Menwith Hill is an integral part of the worldwide Defence Communications Network and provides intelligence support for the United Kingdom, United States of America and allied interests. The Asset and Compliance Manager will oversee, direct and manage the RAF Menwith Hill Planned Maintenance and Recapitalisation Program, working within the Operations (O&M) team forming a critical part of Base Operations.

Job description

The Asset and Compliance Manager will oversee, direct and manage the RAF Menwith Hill Planned Maintenance and Recapitalisation Program, ensuring development and maintenance of programme and asset condition survey, asset condition rating and work with the NGEC 2 Contractor within the Computerised Management .Maintenance System (CMMS) system. The successful incumbent will develop and communicate strategic goals, vision, priorities, programs and long range plans for O&M, ensuring compliance with the on-site Contractual and Legislative requirements and using the deployed (CMMS) will accomplish all aspects of planning and organisational goals.

Essential:
ONC plus 5 years relevant experience in a relevant/associated engineering discipline or HNC/HND in relevant engineering discipline

Must be IT literate.
Ability to work on own initiative with good leadership skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to solve routine problems and make decisions.
Accuracy/conciseness in written and oral communication.
Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines.
Able to adapt to change and always looking for continuous improvement.


The successful candidate will be expected to obtain and maintain a Developed Vetting Enhanced Clearance in order to carry out their duties. You must be a UK citizen and have lived within the UK for 8 of the last 10 years.
