We are seeking a highly organised, motivated and enthusiastic person to join our Creative Arts Therapy Team to support and assist the Creative Arts Therapists.

You will be expected to provide art or music making sessions with babies, children and young people who are resident within the hospice for short breaks. The successful candidate will assist the Art and Music Therapists before and after therapy sessions, and during group sessions, workshops, family events, bereavement events, and choir rehearsals and performances. You will lead with the organisation and delivery of art and music sensory bags, and support the creative arts therapists with the purchasing, maintenance and safe storage of art supplies and musical instruments within the dedicated art and music rooms.

We would particularly like to receive applications from those who are interested in training to be an Art or Music Therapist in the future, or those with previous health care assistant or teaching assistant experience.

All working conditions will be considered for the right candidate. This role may require travel across our full operating region. Full driving licence and access to own vehicle for business use or access to reliable transport arrangements - will be essential. There will be some requirement for weekend and evening working.
