About you as Bartender

• Personality, style and charm are key for The Dandy Bar
• Passion for mixology and cocktail creativity
• Previous bar experience is required
• Power to use your knowledge and charm to upsell

Aim of the Bartender role

To assist in the smooth running of the Dandy Bar, making drinks, cocktails and supporting the floor team for a flawless service between 6.00am - 2.00am.

Key responsibilities of the Bartender

• Ensuring guests are welcomed as soon as possible and orders taken swiftly
• Possess faultless knowledge of all food and drink on the Dandy menus
• To carry out cleaning of bar area and equipment on a regular basis.
• Be confident in taking orders for spirits, wine, beer, soft drinks etc, taking every opportunity to maximise sales in a discreet and professional manner
• Make suggestions of pairings and flavours using your charm and knowledge for guest satisfaction
• Take ownership in accurately charging guests for items purchased
• Complete closing checklists and double check workplace standards as well as supervising other members of the team
• To be confident in responding to any guest/staff enquiries in a professional manner
• Support the Bar and Club Room Manager with standards and Head Bartender with fresh ideas, training and development of the team

Located on Half Moon Street alongside Piccadilly, The Mayfair Townhouse will debut with 172 rooms suites. The Dandy Bar, private gym and versatile event spaces. Mayfair is synonymous with status, heritage and prestige and up until the mid 18th century was largely rural, famous for its annual May Fair. The townhouses lining Half Moon Street formed the setting for Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest.
