Job Description
A permanent role has become available for a Specialist Cleanerto join the existing specialist cleaning team here atTorbay Pharmaceuticalsfor 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday (4pm - 8pm)
The applicant must have good attention to detail and be able to understand and follow written procedures. The candidate will preferably have previous specialist cleaning experience and will be able to work as part of a team.
You will be required to clean within the sterile manufacturing departments which will involve "gowning up" so you will need to be prepared to wear full PPE and work in confined areas,
You will also need to be able to carry out various Moving & Manual Handling activities which will include moving sterile machinery for cleaning, mop ceilings, walls and floors, carry stock for replenishment and using industrial cleaning machinery.
The job will involve working to procedures within a specialised cleanroom environment and ensuring that high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
This role is generally set hours which is Monday to Friday 4pm-8pm although flexibility will be required.
Key Duties of the post holder will include.
- To assist the manufacturing operators in the cleaning of specialist manufacturing equipment/areas.
- To understand the requirements regarding specialised cleaning products
- Be able to work within a cleanroom environment gowned in enclosed clothing to minimise contamination
