Introduction

Our client works across the Public Sector and Defence, and are really pushing for sustainable Net Zero outcomes for their clients.

This role is integral to the company delivery and performance and provides data to ensure delivery of best practice and expertise across all aspects of marketing and business development.

This is a critical role within the team and wider business so that they can drive the business forward with decisions based on data and insight!

Hybrid – 2 – 3 days per week in the office in London, the rest of the work can be done remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Extracting valuable actionable insights from various data sets to inform decision making.
  • Contextualise the data and draw in market intelligence to spot trends and identify opportunities.
  • Use PowerBI to create data visualisations for presenting back to stakeholders.
  • Presenting findings back to stakeholders.
  • Research environment to contextualise data and be able to analyse the data within the environment it is required for.
  • Model and manipulate data including using Excel.
  • Manage and transform data sets using SQL, Dax, PowerQuery etc.
  • Help the business to win work and build a brand within Net Zero, Defence and the Public Sector.

Skills & experience
  • Experience of visualising data with software including PowerBI.
  • Excel modelling and data manipulation skills.
  • Ability to manage and transform datasets using SQL, DAX and Power Query.
  • Ability to turn data into valuable, actionable insight to inform key decision making.
  • Ability to break down complex information into insightful presentations for a C-suite audience.
  • Ability to understand the context in which it operates (external competitive and economic environment).
