Job Description


You will be working across a wide variety of business applications and technology solutions.

In this role, we would expect you to be:

  • Able to write SQL queries for ad-hoc interrogation of system databases and data warehouses
  • Debug and resolve failed SSRS reports and SQL Server Agent jobs
  • Debug and resolve failed SSIS packages
  • An analytical thinker and problem solver who works well with other people
  • A team player who is adaptable and able to work across multiple product teams
  • Able to write, review and take responsibility for clear, concise technical documentation

The role will be predominantly be office/home based. Should you wish, you will have the opportunity to travel from time to time and participate in our international projects.


Qualifications

For this role, we expect:

  • 3+ years’ experience using Microsoft SQL Server
  • Strong experience using T-SQL and any other programming languages
  • Relevant industry experience in a similar role
  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to extract and analyse data
  • Good attention to detail and a result driven approach
  • Organised and able to manage workload efficiently
  • Track record of providing technical support in a customer facing role

The following would be desirable:

  • Experience maintaining databases
  • Debugging and compiling PowerShell scripts
  • ITIL certification
