Fire & Security Technical Specialist - Nationwide - £45,000 - £51,000 + Bonuses & Benefits

As the driving force behind managing our Fire and Security contract, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the highest industry standards and ensuring strict compliance with all regulatory requirements. With your keen eye for detail, you'll oversee the implementation of technical standards, guaranteeing excellence in all operational aspects.

Key Accountabilities:
- Demonstrate unwavering compliance with health and safety legislation and adhere to the company's rigorous processes.
- Uphold the highest standards of compliance with all policies and procedures, fostering a culture of excellence among the team.
- Conduct thorough audits of FM documentation, promptly addressing any non-compliance issues to maintain exceptional standards.
- Act as a professional representative of the company always, cultivating positive working relationships with technicians and the customer's
- employees.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage of all sites for maintenance services, including both reactive and planned preventive maintenance (PPM).
- Provide valuable support to the Head of Technical Services in handling technical and FM process matters.
- Attend site project meetings for trials, renewals, or remodels when necessary, ensuring adequate support on specialized issues.
- Participate in meetings (as per the schedule) with the line manager and technicians to effectively communicate the companies updates and information.
- Regularly engage with the customer to keep them informed about all FM activities.
- Responsibly fulfil any reasonable management request, contributing to the overall success of the team and organization.
Personnel:
- Minimum GCSE/Standard Grade level education
- Electrical competency qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds)
- Proficiency in maintaining and repairing Fire & Security equipment (CCTV, Fire, Access Control)
- Working knowledge of maintenance service in Fire and Security industry
- Experience in multi-client contracted environment (desirable)
- Background in planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and compliance
- Ability to meet industry standards of compliance
- Previous team leadership experience (desired)
- Strong PC literacy and familiarity with reporting and data analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective planning, organization, and prioritization abilities
- Customer service-oriented with a helpful manner
- Results-focused with accountability for own performance and team
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Comfortable working at heights with ladders and mechanical lifters
- Possession of IPAF License (desirable)
- Highly flexible and self-starting with a willingness to adapt
- Extensive mobility required for national travel
Package:
- £45,000 - £51,000 Base Salary
