BI Developer -

Hybrid - Norwich or London

Salary - up to £65,000 (depending on experience & location)


We've partnered with an award-winning Housing Association as they look to build out their data team. They're now looking to bring aboard an experienced BI Developer to support on their upcoming projects they have planned.

This will be joining a team with a variety of people - including Power BI Developers, Project Managers, Business Analysts and Data Architects - with plenty of opportunity to learn & develop your skills from those around you. They work in an agile environment and have a collaborative team culture, with regular daily meetings to bounce ideas off each other and offer support.

With a close partnership with Microsoft, they receive tech releases early & extensive training support that will enable you to advance your experience, particularly within the cloud. They've been using Azure for a number of years and though, ideally you'll have some exposure to Azure, there will be opportunities to up-skill and broaden your experience within the tech stack.


Skills required:

We're looking for someone with a good mix of the below experience:

• Strong SQL or T-SQL experience - with writing complex queries, stored procedures etc. (essential)
• Experience with Data Warehousing methodologies (essential)
• Strong experience with either SSIS or Azure Data Factory (essential)

• Experience building data warehouses from scratch (beneficial)
• Experience with data modelling (beneficial)
• Experience with the Azure tech stack, including Azure Synapse (beneficial)

Location:

This will be based in their London or Norwich office on a hybrid basis. You must be prepared to travel to the office 2 days per week, however there will be flexibility in this and some weeks may not require any travel at all. Unfortunately this role does not offer sponsorship and you must have the full, unrestricted right to work in the UK.
