The role

We are one of the largest and longest established suppliers of products to the catering trade in the north of England and the south of Scotland.

Due to expansion, we are now looking for two Drivers to join our existing team based at our Head Office in Carlisle on a Saturday only to cover the busy season ahead for a period of around 6 months. Extra days will be available.

As a company we pride ourselves on the service we provide and as the main point of contact for customers a polite and can do attitude is essential to help build and maintain good working relationships.

Due to the nature of the work candidates should be physically fit and willing to go that extra mile during peak season to ensure that our customers get the best service possible.

A good knowledge of Cumbria and SW Scotland is preferred but full training will be given.

7.5 tonne licence and CPC preferred but not essential.

The responsibilities

• Loading customer orders on to delivery vehicles
• Delivering orders to customers as specified on delivery notes
• Ensuring that orders arrive at the time required by customers

Hours and salary

6.00am - 2.45pm, Saturday only, £13.10 per hour, £14.10 per hour for hours worked over 40.

Extra days/hours may be available.
