Job summary

Defence Digital provides digital and technology services to our Armed Forces, ensuring they can operate securely via radio, satellite, and the internet. Operating at scale, with an annual budget in excess of £2Bn and a diverse team of 2,500 colleagues, we're aiming to make our Armed Forces some of the most technologically advanced in the world.

Working within Defence Digital’s Portfolio Team as a member of the Business Change and Benefits Management (BC&BM) Centre of Excellence (CoE), you will help achieve the team’s ambitious objectives and deliver BC&BM support services, which include providing direction, consultation, coaching and training.

This job role may be suitable for hybrid working, which is an informal, non-contractual and voluntary arrangement, blending a balance of attendance in the workplace (your permanent duty station based on business assessment of where the work is best done) and working remotely. Dependent on the ‘tasking’ and business need, there may be a requirement to travel to Corsham at least 1-2 times per week. There may also be a requirement to routinely travel to meetings within the UK.

The successful candidate is required to carry out all their duties from a UK location and cannot do so from an overseas location at any time. This post is advertised at 37 hours.

  • Help manage the pace and tempo of BC&BM products and services being delivered by monitoring, mitigating, and addressing internal and external risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints.
  • Support the planning and delivery of prioritised BC&BM products and services.
  • Communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, helping to understand their BC&BM needs, making them aware of the available services and products, and delivering BC&BM upskilling, consultancy, and assurance services.
  • Identifying and implementing continual improvement of BC&BM processes, products, and services. Ensuring they are fit for the working environment and reflect best practices and standards from across Defence and wider Government.
