About the Role

Humbleyard Practice are looking to welcome a qualified Dispenser into our busy practice, who will play a full and active role as part of the practice multi-disciplinary team.
The dispensing team take queries for both dispensing and non-dispensing patients and work closely with the local pharmacies as well with the multi-disciplinary team.
Dispensers will be the main contact for patients with medication queries, for both dispensing and non-dispensing patients. They will assist with in the preparation, dispensing and sale of prescription and assist with stock control, ordering and re-stocking of dispensary.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
  • Dispensing medicines within Primary Care setting
  • Dispensing medicines within a pharmacy or GP setting
  • Managing Stock Control and stock rotation
  • Use of Microsoft Office (word and excel)
  • Use of a GP clinical System
  • Use of SystmOne

About the Candidate

We are looking for a candidate who is able to work on their own initiative to resolve patient queries as well as working well with our team in the practice.
The candidate should be hard-working and able to work towards personal development and stay abreast of changes in best practice.
You will have the following skills and experience:
  • You will have at least a Diploma Level 2 Dispensary or equivalent Pharmacy Services qualification;
  • Experience dealing with the public/patients

About Us

We are a large practice with around 21,500 patients, spread across three sites. You will have the benefit of a small friendly team as well as the advantages of a large support mechanism.
