Job Title: Vehicle Damage Assessor

Location: Ayrshire

Salary: Up to £40,000 (dependent on experience) + bonus + additional excellent benefits (listed below)

Our client, an award-winning company with over 30 years of expertise in the vehicle body repair sector, is seeking a skilled VDA/Estimator to join their team.

As an experienced VDA Estimator, your role will involve assessing a wide range of vehicles using Audatex to accurately and professionally calculate repair costs and time requirements.

You will collaborate regularly with insurance engineers and customers, ensuring accurate damage assessments are created in compliance with BSI PAS 10125 standards, employing the appropriate repair methods.

While an ATA qualification in Estimating is preferred, it is not essential, as we are willing to support your training and development.

Requirements

As an experienced VDA, you should possess:

• Proficiency in estimating costs for significant damages and confidence in using Audatex
• Effective workload planning abilities to ensure repairs are completed within agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
• The capability to work to high standards in a fast-paced environment
• The capacity to perform work according to manufacturers' specifications
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Flexibility in your approach to work
• A commitment to consistently delivering high standards with customer satisfaction in mind
