Events Coordinator
Contract term: Temporary full-time long-term contract
Reporting to: Campaign & Events Manager
Salary: £14 - £16 per hour
Love Success is currently working with an amazing nationwide charity to recruit a passionate and hard-working Events Co-Ordinator to join their marketing team!
The Role:
The Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting with developing creative and cohesive campaigns. You are passionate about ensuring that our work is sustainable, purposeful and creative. You have a strong interest in businesses acting as a force for good & using social media, digital and offline campaigning to bring about positive change. You are comfortable working across teams and managing different priorities.
Responsibilities:
Manage fundraising and engagement events programme to engage new and current supporters, raise funds and increase the profile of the charity.
Assess the viability and practicability of our own, and third-party, fundraising and engagement events.
Identify and implement new and innovative event opportunities.
Monitor income and expenditure for each event.
We are looking to appoint someone who can:
Demonstrable experience in successfully organising a wide variety of fundraising and profile-raising events
Significant experience in designing and developing promotional material in support of fundraising events
Demonstrable experience in project management including liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders
Have engaging and effective communication skills and the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a range of people internally and externally
Demonstrate experience using CRM systems such as Raisers Edge
Desirable experience but not essential:
You are keen to develop a career in policy, public affairs and/or digital campaigning
You have event management skills and experience
Passion for supporting a charity to reach their fundraising goals
