About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Events Coordinator to join our Marketing team at our Head Office in Preston. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and coordinating events, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.


The Events Coordinator will be accountable for holding regular webinars, open evenings and anniversary celebrations for each of our hospitals, working closely with the Marketing Manager and additional Events Coordinator in the team.


We are looking for someone who can.

  • Plan and coordinate a wide range of CPD events.
  • Research and select suitable venues, vendors, and service providers.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring that events are delivered within budget.
  • Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including transportation, accommodation, catering, and equipment rental.
  • Coordinate with speakers, sponsors, and other stakeholders to ensure their participation in events.
  • Ensuring all CPD sessions are registered and that qualifying attendees are able to collect their CPD points
  • Work with Marketing and Engagement to promote events through social media, email marketing, and other channels.
  • Attend events and manage on-site logistics, including set-up, registration, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensuring events plans are kept up to date, using a project management tool


What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Events, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in event planning and coordination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platform.
  • Availability to work evenings and travel to events as required.
