EQUANS are recruiting for an experienced Fencer to join their Responsive Repairs team on the Birmingham City Council contract. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week.The Fencer will be required to carry out a range of reactive repairs across the East Quadrant of Birmingham This is a permanent full-time role. What will you deliver?

  • To carry out a range of reactive repairs work to a high standard as directed by the Site Manager
  • Compliance with specification / Compliance with materials and workmanship
  • Maintain and care for all company tools
  • Maintain and comply with the company vehicle use policy
  • Carry out General Fencing works to high standard with minimum supervision
  • Providing excellent customer service to residents and clients
  • Using a PDA and providing timely updates on jobs

Who are we looking for?

  • Previous site-based work experience
  • Knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation
  • Knowledge of working within the Public Sector
  • Experience with machine shop tooling
  • Valid clean driving licence
  • Current CSCS card
  • Previous social housing experience
