This position, based in Cheltenham is a challenging role supporting the Engineering finance leader on proactive program cost analysis, budget control and productivity. There may be some latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing situations.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:


  • Maintain and control master project data
    • Project set up and maintenance of master data
    • Maintenance of project budgets
  • Lead process for engineering milestone billings reporting
    • Forecasting and reporting of milestone billings
    • Work with billings and order load teams to ensure timely approval of billings requests through workflow process
  • Provide departmental spend reporting and analysis for departmental managers
    • Support control of project and departmental expenditure through SSS approval process
    • Support cost control and adherence to the budget in engineering departmental expenses
  • Provision of routine and ad hoc analysis of project costs and engineering results
    • Prepare inputs for engineering tollgates
    • Prepare engineering inputs required for the Contract Margin Review process
    • Support annual audit
  • Maintain process instructions to support standard work
  • Assist in regular forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning activities.
  • Support enhancement of tools and data accuracy for project cost reporting.
  • Carry out additional FP&A tasks as required

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Degree qualified or relevant work experience
  • Greater than 50% of time to be spent in the office

  • Able to fluently speak and write in English language
