Warehouse Operative/Reach Truck Driver

Warehouse Operatives to join our team, based at our nut processing site in Bromborough. This role offers
£12.84 per hour.
Shifts following a three rotation as follows:
Week 1: 6 am-2 pm
Week 2: 2 pm-10 pm
Week 3: 10 pm-6 am
Responsibilities:
- Picking pallets from the racking with the reach truck and taking them to the relevant production area, using a handheld scanner to record the movements.
- Using computers to check the production progress and ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time.
- Putting pallets away into the racking and scanning all pallets that have been moved to the correct location.
- Operating a clean-as-you-go policy to ensure the warehouse and truck always remain clean.
- Assist in stock control by reporting stock anomalies to a senior member of staff now they are identified.
- Monitoring and maintaining the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards of the Warehouse & Fork Trucks
Qualifications:
- A good understanding of Stock Management.
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance, regulatory requirements, housekeeping and health and safety.
- Good written and communication skills.
- Previous experience in Warehouse & Food Manufacturing would be desirable.
- PC literate including being able to work on the computer system to produce pick lists (training will be given).
- Solid record of mindfulness and strict adherence to procedures.
- Reach truck license essential.
- Counterbalance beneficial.
- Ideally have experience using PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) (training may be given).
