7 Hospitality Management is looking for a motivated, flexible, and driven Guest Services Assistant to join us in this exciting opportunity. This is a 25 Hour role based out of our Judges Court Hotel property in York. It will include a Mix of Housekeeping and Reception shifts, with extra hours available to cover holidays including Nightshifts

Judges Court is a 15 bedroom city centre townhouse tucked away in a secret courtyard, yet only seconds from the heart of York’s shopping district and all its major attractions. With it's individually designed bedrooms, bespoke furniture, deep Georgian colours, original panelling and polished woods this is a unique four storey listed building delivering a fantastic guest experience.

What will I be doing?

As a Guest Services Assistant for the Judges Court, we are looking for a passionate person to drive exceptional standards and guest experience. You will be responsible for the following tasks which cover both Housekeeping and Reception shifts

  • To clean and maintain guestrooms to a high standard including; making guest beds, hoovering, mopping, emptying bins, removal of dirty linen, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, mirrors etc.
  • To replace all used guest amenities
  • To ensure that all assigned areas including public areas are maintained and cleaned to the highest of standards
  • To interact with guests to ensure an exceptional guest service
  • To report all maintenance issues as per the hotel’s maintenance procedures
  • To ensure the accurate documentation and securing of lost and found items
  • Welcome, Register and Check Guests In
  • Answer and respond to incoming enquiries via email and Telephone, including any guest queries
  • Create and allocate new reservations including taking payments

What are we looking for?

A Guest Services Assistant serving 7 Hospitality Management managed hotels is always working on behalf of our Guests, Owners and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you must possess the attitudes, behaviours, skills and values that follow;

  • Previous experience in the same or similar role
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of Rezlynx is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
  • Be willing and eager to learn and develop in this varied Role
