Infrastructure Engineer
As an Infrastructure Engineer you will either work within the Datalab Team of NDEC to develop, maintain and enhance the teams technical capabilities; or DDaT working collaboratively with the service support, infrastructure teams and non-technical user groups to identify issues, facilitate and support fault resolution and project handover. You will play a key part in building our new services on multiple platforms.
You’ll be working at the cutting edge of law enforcement on next-generation projects to help catch the criminals that pose the biggest threat to the UK.
This role is vital in ensuring our operational staff have the right tools, software, systems and platforms to exploit the latest serious and organised crime threats.
NDEC and DDaT are fast-paced environments and our teams work collaboratively and creatively to build software that solves exciting, unique and challenging problems

***All NCA officers must hold SC Enhanced upon entry as a minimum. To meet the National Security Vetting requirements for this role you will need to have resided in the UK for a minimum of 3 out of the past 5 years. For more information please see the Candidate information Pack***

Interviews will take place throughout June and July 2023 - locations to be confirmed. Please be advised that the type of interview (eg. virtual/face-to-face) may be subject to change and successful candidates will be notified of this prior to attending. However the interview is conducted, the interview criteria will remain as shown on Candidate Information Pack page 16.

Multi-Location
Where more than one location is advertised, candidates will be appointed in merit order for each location. You will be asked to state your location preference on your application.

Near Miss
Candidates who are judged to be a near miss at interview may be considered for other positions in the NCA which may be at a lower grade, but have a potential skills match.
Hybrid Working

You will also be tasked with ensuring security is maintained and scheduled checks are conducted throughout the home. Hours of work: 40 hours per week.
Encourage and enable effective partnerships. Part time - 30 hours per week (Mon, Tues, Weds and Fri). Care provided at home or close to home.
