About the Role

We are currently looking for a Group IT Cyber Security Engineer to join us during an exciting time of growth to join our Cyber Security team. This role will be conducting of Group wide internal/external penetration testing with a Red Team approach in mind to implement security measures to resolve vulnerabilities, mitigate risks and/or work with local support teams to achieve protection against highlight security risks/concerns.

What you will be doing in this role
  • Presenting findings to your direct manager in the form of a formal report at the conclusion of each round of testing.
  • Assist companies in the testing of local Wi-Fi networks from a security perspective.
  • Assess adequate access controls based on least privilege and need-to-know methodologies.
  • Performing regular security reviews, risk assessments and audits for all Group companies.
  • Visiting Group locations as and when required to conduct physical penetrations tests if supported by an appropriate skillset.
  • Apply security policies to all applications and services in active use by the Group and producing suggestions to shut down/decommission those no longer required.
  • Ensure all systems security operations and security maintenance activities are properly documented and updated as necessary.
  • Assist/take lead in responding to and security cyber security incidents across the Group.
  • Take part in technical discussions to communicate and effectively voice any concerns.

What you will bring to the role

  • Highly experienced in PEN testing, ideally with the Red Team approach.
  • Large amount of technical knowledge, understand and hands on experience.
  • Ability to assist major incidents following/creating policies and procedures.
  • Confidence and experience to make suggestions/recommendations to improve the security posture of the group.
  • Experience in vulnerability scanning internally of systems and services within a group of companies.
  • Experience implementing security measures to resolve vulnerabilities and mitigate risk.
