A part-time opportunity to join our busy team has arisen. The successful candidate will be required to help ensure the smooth running of the Coffee Shop and Restaurant, assist the team in all operational aspects and provide exceptional customer service.
Duties
▪ Assisting in the set up and maintenance of all service areas
▪ Welcoming customers in a friendly, quick and efficient manner
▪ Introducing customers to the menu and daily/seasonal menu specials
▪ Taking and processing customers' orders
▪ Maintaining familiarity with menu items, specials and allergens
▪ Answering questions about menu items, ingredients, allergens and pricing
▪ Serving meals/drinks to customers in a timely manner
▪ Managing customer payment transactions
▪ Clearing and sanitising tables
▪ Supporting colleagues at peak times, and undertaking any operational duty which might be reasonably required to ensure customer expectations are met
▪ Supervising the dishwasher and cleanliness of plates
▪ Effectively handling a high volume of plates to be cleaned
▪ Ensuring quick turnaround of plates, crockery and cutlery after customer use
▪ Heavy lifting of dirty/clean plates when required
▪ Maintaining five star hygiene standards at all times
▪ Ensuring all duties are carried out in accordance with our full Health and Safety requirements, including food hygiene regulations and COVID Control measures
Essential Requirements
▪ Coffee Shop and Restaurant/Kitchen experience desired but full training provided
▪ Must be a team player that is adaptable and flexible to daily challenges
▪ Strong customer service skills
▪ Good communication and interpersonal skills
▪ Energetic and flexible
▪ Neat and tidy appearance at all times
▪ Ability to work under pressure
Working Hours: Weekends and School Holidays
