We are currently seeking an experienced, highly organised and supremely professional Kitchen Porter Supervisor, to join our Culinary team.
The on target earning potential for this role is £27,431 / annual salary based on a 39 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £23,431 plus a qualified estimate of £4,000 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
Working alongside our Back of House management team to ensure all of our daily business objectives are delivered to the highest standard, always within the required time frames
Supporting our chefs, and their brigades, you’ll ensure your team of Kitchen Porters complete all cleaning routines efficiently and professionally throughout our kitchens; our standards are sky high and our cleaning schedules are tight
Leading from the front, you’ll be responsible for making sure all crockery, cutlery and glassware are pristine before reaching our guests, with outstanding attention to detail. You’ll instil in your team a clear understanding of the part you all play in making sure every element of our service is 5 star
Taking responsibility for storing all equipment; crockery, glassware, cutlery in each outlet accurately and safely; highly organised, you’ll make sure our teams can always find what they need, when they need it
Using your extensive knowledge of kitchen, hospitality and back of house operations, including your strong knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety rules regulations; ensuring the whole team are fully compliant with the necessary regulations
Ensuring the safe removal, segregation and storage of all recycling materials
Building strong working relationships with our teams across the Townhouse, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making sure our service is 5 star in every way
Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
The kind of person we're looking for:
Ideally, you’re already established in a similar role, with outstanding knowledge of kitchens within hospitality and back of house operations; you’re also have outstanding experience in food hygiene and Health and Safety regulations
Used to work in fast paced settings, you work extremely well under pressure and thrive on challenge
Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way
