About The Opportunity: We now have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Technician to join our Runcorn Depot. Reporting into the Engineering Manager, your overall responsibility will be lead a multi-skilled team of technicians, plan and schedule maintenance activities, liaise with and supervise external contractors, review and update daily/weekly/monthly reports. The role may offer opportunities for technical and leadership training, along with supporting the national team.
Your working hours will be 37.5 hours and you will have two work patterns. Two weeks doing 6am-2pm Monday to Friday, followed by two weeks doing 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
An ideal candidate will feel confident working on the maintenance scheduling and maintenance for Automation and Facilities, as well as being able to supervise external contractors.
In this role you will have the opportunity to step up and deputise in the absence of the Engineering Manager, being responsible for Security Audits and Resource Planning.
You will be working on the production of D/W/M Reports, and be able to review these reports to plan improvements in line with CI initiatives and projects.
This role also requires candidates to be able to manage incident escalation and spareparts management.
