This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and creative CDP.

Aruba is a Beach side restaurant encompassing a large cocktail bar and sun terrace. The menu incorporates popular dishes, from freshly made to order Thai curries and Seafood Paella, to a full range of hand stretched pizzas, steaks and hand pressed burgers, supplied from our local butchers.

About you....

We are looking for a hardworking Chef de Partie to join our team. Our kitchens can get extremely busy, so having previous high volume experience is essential. In order to be suitable for this role, you must -

• have excellent food & hygiene standards

• have excellent time management and organisational skills

Main Duties:

• Assist the kitchen team in daily preparation and cooking of food
• Serve and prepare food promptly and professionally
• Maintain a good understanding of menu options
• Responsible for taking and recording food/fridge temperatures
• Inform Head Chef of food supplies required
• Ensure equipment is functional and cleaned to high standards
• Coach and support less experienced chefs
• Maintain all Health and Safety measures

Skills & Experience Required...

• At least 1 years' experience working in a similar position
• At least 1 years' experience working in a high volume restaurant
• Must be able to speak and understand good English
• Food hygiene level 2 (preferred)

Hours...

• Full time - 5 days
• 40hrs +
• Must be able to work week days, weekends & bank holidays
