What will the role of Depot Maintenance Operative include?

Reporting into the Facilities Manager you will be responsible for undertaking day to day maintenance and repairs in the depot. Duties will include:

  • Undertake minor projects as directed by the manager
  • Support other depot site maintenance operatives on general maintenance or repairs
  • Conduct a weekly fire alarm test
  • Inspect weekly, all depot road vehicles and complete weekly vehicle inspection sheets
  • Assist in supplier and customer audits where required
  • Work away from site where required to meet business needs
  • Conducting legionella flushing and disinfection and monthly temperature checks
What will I need to be considered for the role of Depot Maintenance Operative?

  • Good standard of education
  • Previous experience is essential
  • Understanding of depot operations is desirable
