Working for a very well established and global organisation with a fantastic reputation for internal progression and development.

The duties include:

• Support with profit and loss and balance sheet reconciliations and forecasting
• Development of cashflow forecasting and reporting to Group
• Preparation of monthly VAT returns and clear down of VAT accounts
• Assist with product mix analysis for month end, forecasting and budget
• Support the pricing team with ongoing pricing decisions by ensuring their methods are correct and the impact on the P&L has been correctly calculated
• Prepare monthly overhead data with variance analysis against budget and forecast
• Provide business with daily profit summary analysis fielding key queries and monitoring against forecast
• Provide detailed breakdown on orders and profitability to drive business growth
• Monitor key cost of sales GL accounts providing PPV analysis and working with purchasing to ensure standard costs are correct within the system
• Twice yearly update of standard costs including vetting of data and communicating the impact with the wider business
• Monitoring of freight costs including developing and circulating weekly freight reports to track costs and support business decisions
• Review processes to ensure they are streamlined and reduce manual processes where possible
• Assist in year-end audit procedures and documentation for the external auditors.
