We are a specialist supplier of Transport and Plant Hire services to a wide range of industries including construction, rail and aerospace on high-profile, large-scale projects such as HS2. With both articulated mixers capable of carrying up to 11 meters of concrete and rigid mixers able to carry up to 8 meters to choose from, choosing Explore means choosing versatility.

- Annual salary £33,488 based on a 46-hour working week
- Hourly rate for Mixer Driver / Lead Driver / Flexi Driver up to £16 per hour depending on experience
- Nights out may be required on occasion – in this event, they are fully paid for and covered at no cost to the driver.
- This is a permanent position, with 46 hours guaranteed work with flexible daily hours. Some Saturday morning work may be required on occasion.

Main Responsibilities
- Daily perform of pre-and post-trip safety check on equipment and the truck to assure a safe vehicle. Document any maintenance that may be required.
- Adhere to customer Health and Safety instructions by dispatch/ plant personnel when truck under loading hopper.
- Assembly of concrete chute to truck controlling appropriate levers on truck to discharge product according to specifications from the contractor/ site.
- Appropriate, wash out truck at the job site (Where permitted) and replace chute on truck after delivery to prevent cement from hardening in mixer and on truck. (Drum and Vehicle maintenance) TFR/ACID
- Daily Maintenance of Greasing Rollers
- Be able to work and communicate with immediate customers and suppliers and internal staff.
- All POD’s completed correctly and accounted for.
Qualifications
- HGV/LGV/C+E/Class 1 or 2
- Have no more than 6 points on your licence (NO DR, DD OR IN codes)
- Possess a digital tachograph card and full CPC
