We are looking for a highly motivated Band 5 Registered Nurse or ODP.
This is a fixed Term/Seconded Post of 1 Year to Cover Maternity Leave.
You will require a genuine interest in the Oral Surgery/Maxillofacial speciality.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and friendly team and expand knowledge and skills.
Your base area will be Oral Surgery and this is where you will hold the majority of your skills and knowledge.
You will work predominately in Day Case Theatre. You will be involved in GA dental lists, assisting the anaesthetist, for both adult and paediatric patients.
You will also perform the scrub role and work in the recovery area for adult patients
You will be involved in adult L A dental lists, L A Skin lists and L A laser lists. Where you will be involved in the scrub role and work in the recovery area.
There will be opportunity to work in various OMFS outpatient clinics which will incorporate Emergency clinics, Cancer Clinics and other clinics pertinent to the Speciality.
You will need to demonstrate high standards of clinical care
You will be caring and patient focused.
You will be proactive and flexible in your approach to your duties.
You will be organised and possess excellent communication skills.
You will contribute to the multidisciplinary team to ensure good communication and the dissemination of information.
