Looking for a highly motivated and experienced practitioner with experience working with children aged 18 months - 4 years old.

Starting salary £20,498 with annual progression to £23,842

Career progression opportunities over three sites are available.

Maples Day Nursery at the University of Birmingham is offering the opportunity for the successful candidate to work within a small team of practitioners providing outstanding care. The job includes 40 days of holiday per year, including bank holidays and University closed days. Based within Winterbourne House and Gardens the job divides time spent looking after children both indoors and out in a range of weathers.

The nursery opened in 2019 and boasts 68 places for children between 18 months and school age. Following a child led approach the right candidate will help children progress through the EYFS. High professional expectations will be maintained and potential employees will have a thorough induction during the six month probation period.

As the nursery is increasing in size there are now opportunities for experienced and knowledgeable level three practitioners across the age groups. For further information please contact Nursery Manager Heather Bench.
