My client are a modern-day law firm, within their new office based in Bolton Town Centre is a highly driven team who create a welcoming atmosphere and modern professional culture.

- Manage their own caseload that consists of mis sold pension and investment claims and other legal cases, whilst taking ownership ad responsibility of the wills
- You will analyse information and evidence to compile a case, chase clients and third parties for key documents, responses from advisers which need to be reviewed and responded to, third parties and monitoring upcoming deadlines and action accordingly, managing all cases from being passed over to completion
- Work alongside our wills consultant/lawyer and assist with the administration of estates and the drafting of wills, and they ensure that all legal documents are prepared and filed correctly
- Booking in clients with possible face to face appointments, generate business in wills, great communication, organisation skills and of course a great telephone manner
- Confident generating new business within the wills and probate area and carrying out face to face appointments
- Reviewing new mis sold pension and legal cases passed from the investigation team and head of legal identifying the appropriate course of action for the client in full on the appropriate course and next steps
- Managing cases that have been sent over form the start to completion
- Completing verbal questionnaires with the client
- Writing, checking, and issuing letters of compliant to advisers, providers and the FSCS for the appropriate basis of a claim
- Ensuring complaints are acknowledged with Regulatory timescales with escalations and chasing where needed
- Chasing clients documents as needed

- Whilst building relationships with clients and providing updates to them on the progression of their case
- Taking inbound calls and emails from clients appropriately noting on the system
- Able to take on any Ad Hoc roles when required
- Keep up to date with regulatory changes
- Report any vulnerable customers, complaints, and issues to compliance and/or management to update various logs
- Also undertaking work under the relevant supervision
- At least 2 years' experience in a paralegal position
- Must have at least LPC/SQE and Law Degree
- At least 1 years' experience managing Wills (possibly probate)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent computer proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, outlook and possibly proclaim
- Must be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive, professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and under instruction and guidance from management
- Upbeat manner in a fast paced environment
