Job Description

Location: Base location Bradford with hybrid working


To excel in this role, you must have expertise in coaching, mentoring, and learning and development. You will build coaching and mentoring relationships with leaders and teams, supporting and challenging their adoption of YW Organisational Development tools and approaches. Design and deliver interventions with a measurable impact on leadership capability and team environment, building a suite of learning solutions and pathways that mean leadership capability can be efficiently, consistently, and sustainably developed.


As part of a community of leadership learning, coaching, and development SMEs across YW, you will work together to build and deploy an integrated and cohesive set of learning activities across our business. You will also stay up-to-date in external best practice in learning and development, coaching, and organizational development to ensure YW is using the latest thinking and practice in its solutions.


Knowledge and Skills Required:


Essential:


  • Qualified in coaching at level 5 or below
  • Experience of delivering leadership-, behaviour- and performance-enhancing coaching, mentoring, learning and development activities
  • Has experience of working at all levels of an organisation (individual contributor through to c-suite) and can adapt style accordingly, both in design and dynamically in delivery
  • Extensive experience of learning design across facilitated (face to face and virtual) and self-directed modes of delivery
  • Experienced working within a blended learning framework and of cohort-based learning programmes
  • Experience of contemporary learning approaches – experiential, digital and immersive
  • Confident and capable user of modern business technology and communication channels (e.g. MS Word/Excel/Powerpoint, Teams, Whiteboard)
  • Extensive experience of integrating behavioural tools (e.g. psychometrics, 360s, feedback, team dynamics) within learning
  • A strong and engaging communicator verbally who inspires, encourages, and challenges learners to grow their capability
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD) and of keeping pace with latest thinking in the space of leadership and behavioural learning & development, including coaching
  • Works well independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnering skills
  • Has experience/is accredited as an Assessor (e.g. Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement)
  • Experience of sourcing and managing external learning solutions, providers and partners
  • A Full UK Driving Licence is essential as business travel will be required to sites across the Yorkshire Water Network

Desirable:


  • Experience of psychometrics and/or qualified in some assessment tools
  • Has worked with digital/curated learning platforms and Learning Management Systems
  • Experience working with Success Factors Learning/SAP
  • Is an accredited coach at level 5 and above
  • Experience of coaching within a continuous improvement/change environment
  • ILM or CMI Leadership & Management Qualification
