Job Description


This role is available on a mainly remote basis with occasional Shirebrook office presence when required

You will be joining our newly formed Technology Enablement team – a team who drive innovation and creativity across our wider IT function. Our mission is to build, define and deploy development best practices, and to be a central resource for adapting and rolling out best practice across the business.

We’re at the start of our journey with rolling out Microsoft Teams across our retail division, we’ve started to unlock the potential of low/no code solutions and are now looking for an Engineer to help drive us forward.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders- gathering requirements and designing/building integrations
  • Developing Power Automate workflows to integrate business data
  • Developing Power Apps Canvas / Model driven apps
  • Integrating with Power BI, SharePoint & Teams
  • Integrating in-house system by developing custom integrations, as well as 3rd party APIs
  • Mentoring peers within our own, and across other engineering teams to foster collaboration and innovation

Qualifications
  • 3+ years developing solutions with Power Platform
  • Keen to drive adoption of newer technologies and techniques
  • SQL Server 2012+ / T-SQL & Stored Procedures
  • Azure DevOps (or similar tools) for CI/CD and backlog/progress tracking
  • SharePoint / Office 365
  • Azure / Azure Functions / Azure Blob Storage / MS Graph
  • Knowledge of testing strategies and tools for Power Platform solutions
