Equans is looking for a Premises Manager to join our team in Highbury Grove School London N5 2EQ on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package.

Shift times
What will you deliver?

General Overview:
Ensure security, care, and availability of premises and assets
Maintain satisfactory physical environment for users
Promote efficient use of assets to support educational objectives
Line manage site team and subcontractors
Maintain compliance and accurate record-keeping
Ensure health and safety standards are upheld
Provide support in emergency situations
Complete monthly reports and submit to Account Manager
Work flexibly to accommodate local requirements

Key Responsibilities:
Line management of site team, including premises, grounds, and cleaning staff
Assist Account Manager with compliance and paperwork
Conduct weekly statutory PPMs and review subcontractor RAMS
Manage staff sickness, absence, and holiday allowance
Maintain good communication with school clients and Equans
Log all jobs on the helpdesk and ensure timely closure
Ensure health and safety training and toolbox talks are up to date
Provide assistance in emergency situations and with site information
Complete monthly reports and submit to Account Manager
Flexibility to provide occasional overtime and weekend cover

Who are we looking for?
IOSH Managing Safely certification
Experience in managing cleaners/caretakers
Experience in an education environment
Enhanced DBS clearance or ability to obtain
First Aid Training
