As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be working for the official technology and data company that connects sports, betting and media. They partner with global sports organisations such as the English Premier League, NBA and NFL and provide data from these events to create real-time odds.
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be the "go-to" technical person within the division. You will be the technical expert and take responsibility of technical decisions. You will own end-to-end Architecture, the technical roadmap and ensure technical decisions are sound and are aligned with the vision.
The team will be measuring correlations between different markets of an event and then monitoring patterns after the event has taken place. You will then apply margins asymmetrically, which will improve customer experience and reduce volatility. Pretty high level stuff!
This is a hands-on, functional leadership role and you will be an individual contributor. There is no line management responsibilities, however, you will be expected to provide technical mentoring to Mid-Level and Seniors within the team.
