Probation Service Officer

We are currently looking for an experienced Probation Service Officer to join South Central Probation Service.

LOCATION: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
HOURS: 37 hours per week
DURATION: 3 Months
PAY RATE: £18.00 - £20.07 p/h (Depending on experience)

Probation Service Officer Duties

• This Role requires an ISP writer, can work remotely and would be working across our PDU for offices in High Wycombe, Aylesbury and Milton Keynes
• MUST be experienced in writing ISPs

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience as a Probation Service Officer or in a custody setting.

• Experience of working and supporting a diverse range of people who have experienced a range of social/personal difficulties, including working with groups and individuals to motivate and change behaviour.
• Experience of making effective referrals to and managing relationships between external agencies to enhance positive outcomes, manage risk and reduce reoffending.
• An understanding of and commitment to equal opportunities and diversity good practice
