East Midlands Academic Health Science Network (EMAHSN) brings together the NHS, universities, public health and social care across the East Midlands to work with industry to transform the identification, adoption and spread of proven innovations and best practice. Funded by NHS England, NHS Improvement and the Office for Life Sciences, EMAHSN is hosted by Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, but operate as a self-contained organisation based at the Jubilee Campus of the University of Nottingham.
We are recruiting a Programme Coordinator to jointly support the Improvement and Innovation portfolios. The role will focus on a range of programmes and projects aligned to these work streams (NHS Improvement and NHS England), ensuring that all corporate and programme management requirements are consistently applied and supported.
Main duties of the job
The Programme Coordinator will support the associated programme activities including setting up and maintaining programme and project documentation, being a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, monitoring risks, interpreting and recording financial/reporting data, tracking and reporting on achievement of milestones, diary management and organising a variety meetings and events.
The successful post holder will have a high level of administration and office management experience ideally in the NHS, social care or health related setting. They will be able to demonstrate initiative and problem solving skills, identifying and implementing solutions to challenges. You will enjoy working in a fast paced environment, prioritising your own workload and achieving deadlines.
Working for our organisation
EMAHSN is a hybrid working organisation with staff working a combination of home and office working. There is currently no minimum number of days that staff are required to work from the office however in-person attendance frequency is as required by your line manager and is also required for quarterly meetings.

Salary: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
