Role

KBS is recruiting a Project Controller (Scheduler) to support the KBS Project Control Function based in Portsmouth. This role will be responsible for maintaining the two-year Forward Works Plan (FWP) L4 schedule and provides a vital role in the collation of data and analysis of milestones, to maintain business profitability. Purpose

Reporting to Project Execution Planning Lead

Key responsibilities / tasks will include:

  • Organisation of weekly schedule updates with Project Managers
  • Analysis of schedule data
  • Maintaining schedule integrity
  • Provision of statistics for driving KPIs/PIs to timely completion
  • Advising Project Managers of appropriate schedule structure
  • Liaison with the Project Management Office(PMO) to assess impact to changes against L2 Infra Programme(IP)
  • Addition of emergent works to FWP
  • Monitoring Project Control inbox for additions/changes to schedule

Reporting duties including:

  • Project Planning/Scheduling
  • Liaison with other KBS functions
  • Uses experience and knowledge to solve problems, such as project dependencies
  • Ensures project schedule dependencies remain current
  • Prioritises tasks to ensure data integrity for specific reports
  • Uses judgement to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices.
  • Assist with development of Project Control processes and procedures
  • Full engagement with Programme/Project Managers
  • Advises on tasks required for adherence to policies and procedures
  • Assist in performing and delegating administrative office duties or projects as required or as assigned
  • Stakeholder management – Integration of Design Management, Project Management and Client requirements

Experience and Skills:

  • Use of Microsoft Project
  • Use of Microsoft Excel including ability to utilise formulae/pivot tables, etc
  • Understanding of project lifecycle
  • Knowledge of Sharepoint
  • Drafting and review processes (General Understanding)
  • Ability to Prioritise
