Contract Scotland are working with one of the UK’s busiest specialist contractors, predominately focussed in residential energy efficiency services, to source a Quantity Surveyor.

Our client is looking for a confident Quantity Surveyor ideally with a knowledge of EWI (External wall insulation) and other specialist trades, including render, roofing and boiler replacement.

To be considered you will ideally have the following:

• Be able to manage sub-contractors, issue and value subcontractor applications for payment and produce sub-contract orders.
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveyor or equivalent with experience of specialist trades within the housing sector.
• Fully IT proficient and familiar with cost management software and Excel.
• A strong commercial acumen coupled with excellent negotiation abilities is also essential.

Based in their Glasgow office, you will be joining a friendly team with a huge pipeline of work throughout central Scotland. .
