Senior Quantity Surveyor

Milestone's Streetlighting division, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on our Thurrock and Redbridge Streetlighting Contracts working out of our depot which is located Junction 25, M25 Waltham Cross, Enfield.

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be part of our Commercial Department who are responsible for the Commercial Management of our Streetlighting Contracts

Thurrock and Redbridge Contracts workscope consists of Delivery of planned routine maintenance , inspection and testing, non-routine maintenance of streetlighting, illuminated signs and other powered highways apparatus within the boundaries of the Councils. Installation of capital works schemes and emergency call outs.

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor your duties & responsibilities will be:

• Preparation/Submission of Monthly application to Client
• Ensure all change is captured and submitted to Client in accordance with Contractual timescales
• Estimating/agreement of Schedule of rates SOR
• Close liaison with the Client/Customers
• Project reporting to include Monthly CVR and Quarterly Forecasts
• Management of WIP
• Risk Management & EWN process
• Contractual Support to Operations Team
• Attendance at weekly commercial and operation meetings
• Procurement and management of Subcontract Accounts.
• Management of direct costs
• Ad hoc duties as job requires
• Tendering and pricing for new works
