A Graduate R&D Engineer is required to join a growing, niche engineering company that specialise in the design and development of specialist light source equipment. The successful applicant will be working within an R&D environment alongside senior engineers on performance testing and the documenting and development of new and current products.

Graduate R&D Engineer - What you get to do

• Measuring electrical performance utilising oscilloscopes and carrying out water flow and/or air flow measurements.
• Designing and building test equipment to assist such testing.
• Mechanical production engineering. Such as organising drawing updates, custom modification and product portfolio evolution and improvements.

Skills and qualifications helpful for the role of Graduate R&D Engineer

• Some experience of PLCs or their programming and a general understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Some experience of designing and drafting utilising Solidworks or another 3D design tool to create components and drawings for manufacture.
• A completed engineering degree is essential (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical etc.)
