NVC Security are looking to recruit a reliable licensed security guard for an office based reception security role in Chesterfield.

What the role will include:
This is an ongoing, reception-based role in the centre of Chesterfield. The role will involve working alongside one other officer on reception. It is available with an immediate start.
As a general guideline, your duties in the role will include:
- Delivering exceptional levels of customer service and support to visitors.
- Conducting hourly patrols.
- Ensuring the site remains secure.
- Reporting any suspicious behaviour.
What are the hours?
Monday, Wednesday & Friday - 09:00 - 17:15
Tuesday & Thursday - 09:00 - 19:45
What we are looking for:
- Successful candidates must have an SIA licence in Security Guarding, Door Supervision or Close Protection.
- Excellent customer service skills, you should be confident with speaking to members of the public and comfortable with helping visitors to the centre and making them feel safe and secure.
- A smart appearance with good personal presentation
- The ability to take charge, make decisions and handle difficult situations with maturity.
- Comfortable with working long hours.
- Checkable work history for the previous five years in accordance with BS7858.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Able to work effectively in teams and develop strong team loyalty.
- Good observational skills and ability to take initiative to act individually or collaboratively as needed.
- Ideally, you will have at least three years’ experience in a security role, however this is not essential as training will be provided for the right candidates.
- Access to own vehicle required due to the locations of the jobs.
