Salary / Benefits:
£65,000 - £85,000 dependant on level of experience

Keen to hear from candidates with;

• Degree in Civil Engineering, HND or HNC
• Minimum of 5 years' experience working in the Rail / Construction Industry
• Temporary Works experience
• PTS
• As a Senior Design Manager, you will be a recognised CEM

What you'll be doing as a Senior Design Manager

• Manage the design process for assigned projects.
• Work with the designer and delivery team to ensure that the design deliverables and schedule are clearly defined.
• Manage the engineering change process and ensure CEM, CRE and delivery teams are involved in critical decision making.
• Check the suitability of the design, considering "design for safety" and buildability.
• Work with design and delivery teams to explore design alternatives
• Carry out Temporary Works duties as the appointed TWC for allocated projects
• Appoint TWS as necessary
• Liaise with Client and confirm what is to be included in the Health and Safety file and to the agreed format.
• Ensure that the contents of the HSE file is compiled on an ongoing basis, throughout the duration of the project and fully submitted to agreed timescale.
