Software Engineer - C/C++

The Opportunity:

We are proud to partner with a leading defence organisation in search of a talented C++ Software Engineer to work on the development of cutting-edge software for the next generation of Defence Systems.

You will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, creating innovative and ground-breaking products for some of the most advanced systems in the world. You will be involved in every stage of the software engineering lifecycle and will have the chance to continuously design and develop the software architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Develop cutting-edge software for the next generation of Maritime Defence Systems using C/C++.
• Work across the entire software engineering lifecycle.
• Working with others during Paired Programming sessions.
• Be involved with lightweight design modelling.

Requirements:

• Ability to work across the entire software development process
• Experience with C/C++
• Experience with Test Driven Development
• Passion for learning new technologies and tools
• Interest in application-level software

Location and Salary:

This flexi-remote based on Stevenage and offers a salary of up to £65,000.
