Corporate Strategy Manager, Global Insurance We are working with a global leader in the insurance sector. hey are now looking to add a Strategy Manager to their London-based team. This team works directly with their business leaders, shaping the strategy that enables the business to achieve its global ambitions. They are tasked with facilitating and supporting decision making to ensure the company invests in the assets and capabilities needed to stay ahead of the competition and maintain market leadership, with fresh and disruptive thinking. They help evolve early ideas into future growth initiatives, and work with the delivery function to drive these forward. What you’ll be doing: Contributing to continuous development of the overall strategy for the business Providing thought leadership to business partners on a broad range of business-critical topics, from product and growth strategies to operational and organisational challenges and opportunities Crafting insightful presentations that summarise analysis and presenting them to groups of senior leaders to influence decision-making. Conducting market research, identifying and monitoring industry trends and competitive analysis. Managing the relationship with specific business leaders to help them develop and grow their divisions Supporting the Executive Leadership Team with ad hoc requests in a timely, accurate and insightful way Project examples include growth strategy, market entry, product strategy, digital distribution and target operating model design What we’re looking for: Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, and/or financial services/insurance High proficiency in and passion for problem solving; ability to break complex challenges into logical and manageable components Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects. Ability to successfully work and partner across multiple functions in an organisation. Ability to identify business challenges and opportunities, think creatively about solutions, and create well-structured plans by weighing risks Ability to create actionable plans to implement strategy Strong, effective communicator - comfortable engaging with senior leaders, and able to effectively challenge the status quo to shift the way of thinking Intellectually curious, results-oriented, motivated, disciplined and flexible Demonstrated collaborative ability, both within immediate team and wider company.
